You may be wondering why I haven’t posted all that recently. The answer is my little friend in the photos above. That’s Joey. He is here on a “sleepover” from A Leg Up Rescue. He is a 7 lb-ish papillon mix like me. Joey needs a furever home — like I once did — and it might be here with us. So far things are going pretty good. Joey and I like each other well enough and although it pains me to admit this, the cuteness factor in this place has gone way up now that it’s the two of us together.

There was some confusion on the first night when Joey got fed better smelling food than me but otherwise I don’t have many complaints. I’ve been a really good host, honest! The only thing I don’t like is going for walks with Joey so that means Joey and I each take my mom or dad on a walk separately and the humans are doing twice the amount of walks. Hey, it’s not like it’s gonna hurt them. Maybe as Joey and I get to know each other better, we’ll be able to walk together but I dunno. I’ll keep you posted on both our walking & living situations.
